Exam and treatment rooms
Surfaces, fixtures, and equipment exteriors cleaned and disinfected with appropriate products, contact times, and a clean-to-dirty sequence, with materials not carried between rooms.
Industry · Medical & dental
Clinics, dental practices, and specialty care cleaned to a clinical standard and scheduled around patient hours.
Clinical standards
In most commercial cleaning, the standard is how the space looks. In a medical or dental facility it is also what the space is, and the two are only partly related. An exam room can look immaculate and still be wrong if surfaces were cleaned in the wrong order or with the wrong product, and patients cannot tell the difference, which is precisely why the protocol has to be reliable rather than visible.
Sequence matters as much as product. Cleaning from clean areas to dirty, using appropriate contact times, and not carrying cloths and mops between zones are basic requirements that ordinary commercial cleaning does not systematically apply. A cleaner trained on offices will produce an office-clean exam room.
The patient-facing side runs on a different logic. Waiting areas, restrooms, and reception are what patients actually evaluate, often while sitting still with nothing else to look at, and they draw conclusions about clinical competence from them. Both standards have to hold, and they need different work.
What is included
Every scope is built for the specific building. These are the areas most medical & dental plans cover, with frequencies set during the walkthrough.
Surfaces, fixtures, and equipment exteriors cleaned and disinfected with appropriate products, contact times, and a clean-to-dirty sequence, with materials not carried between rooms.
Door handles, switches, chair arms, counter edges, and shared equipment surfaces on a defined frequency rather than as part of a general wipe-down.
The spaces patients actually assess, reset before opening so the first appointment of the day arrives to a space that looks cared for.
Fixtures, floors, and touchpoints disinfected rather than merely cleaned, with consumables managed and checked.
Floor care matched to clinical flooring, including finishes suitable for healthcare settings and attention to edges and corners.
General and recycling waste handled to your procedures. Regulated medical waste stays with your licensed contractor and we do not touch it.
How we approach it
Medical facilities have a hard constraint that offices do not: the building must be fully reset before the first appointment, and cleaning cannot happen while patients are present in clinical areas. That makes scheduling a clinical requirement rather than a convenience.
Most Minneapolis practices we work with are serviced in the evening after the last patient, or early morning before opening. Some prefer early morning specifically so the space is visibly fresh rather than cleaned twelve hours earlier. We set that during the walkthrough and hold to it, because a late crew in a medical practice is not a minor inconvenience.
Confidentiality is part of the scope too. Crews are screened and consistent, and instructed not to disturb paperwork, charts, or work surfaces beyond what the scope requires. For areas with specific access restrictions we agree the boundaries in writing before the first visit.
Getting started
Four steps, no long sales process. Most medical & dental clients go from first call to first service inside a couple of weeks.
Check AvailabilityWe walk the building with you, look at how each area is actually used, and note what matters: traffic patterns, flooring, access and security requirements, and anything a previous cleaner kept missing.
You get it in writing: what is cleaned, how often, and when. The schedule is set around your operating hours rather than around ours.
If the building has been under-served, a one-time detail clean sets the baseline before recurring service begins, so the ongoing scope maintains a standard rather than chasing a backlog.
The same crew works your building so standards hold. We run periodic quality checks rather than waiting for a complaint, and adjust the scope as things change.
Pricing
Medical cleaning is priced on the number of clinical rooms rather than total floor area. Exam and treatment rooms require protocol-driven work with specific products and sequencing, so a practice with eight exam rooms costs more than an office of the same size with none.
Square footage and the number of restrooms, which drive most of the labour time
Visit frequency, from a couple of times a week through to daily service
Flooring mix, since hard-floor care and carpet care need different time and equipment
How heavily the space is used, and whether it is public-facing
Any add-ons such as consumables, interior glass, or periodic deep cleaning
We quote after walking the building rather than over the phone. A scope guessed from a square-footage figure is the usual reason a cleaning price changes three months in.
Common questions
Yes. Clinical areas follow a defined protocol covering products, contact times, and a clean-to-dirty sequence, with materials not carried between rooms. The specifics are agreed with your practice and written into the scope.
No. Regulated medical waste stays with your licensed medical waste contractor. We handle general and recycling waste to your procedures. Being clear about that boundary matters more than being accommodating about it.
Outside patient hours, either evening after the last appointment or early morning before opening. Many practices prefer early morning so the space is visibly fresh when doors open.
Yes, and they stay consistent for your facility rather than rotating. For medical practices, knowing exactly who is in the building after hours is part of the service.
Yes. Dental, specialty, veterinary, and therapy practices each have specific requirements, which we capture during the walkthrough rather than assuming a generic medical scope covers them.
